Course Description

HLT33115 Cert III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in nursing work in acute care) is designed to provide learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to provide assistance to health professionals for the care of clients in acute healthcare settings. This course includes theoretical and practical training that equips learners with factual, technical, and procedural knowledge.

Entry Requirements

Academic level:

Completed of High School Certificate or equivalent

English Proficiency

  1. IELTS 6.0/PTE 52 or equivalent
  2. 10 mins interview (face to face or online) – One of the questions is, ‘are you willing to collect blood samples from all patients (gender, ethnicity, cultural background and infection status?’)
  3. Complete a LLN test
  4. Proficiency in using computers
