Course Description

Looking to renew your Medication Competency certification? Look no further than our Medication Competency Refresher Course, delivered by a registered nurse, that requires renewal every 12 months.

Our short course covers the basics of administering medications, providing care workers with the skills and knowledge required to assist in the administration of prescribed medications from a dose administration aid, such as a Webster Pack. Our course includes online theory components that must be completed prior to the face-to-face practical. Please note that this is a mandatory requirement and failure to complete the theory assessment will result in refused entry.

Through role-play activities, class discussions, case studies, and examinations, participants will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to participate in providing and assisting in the distribution and administration of medical aid and medicines. Upon completion of this course, participants will be classified as Medical Competent.
