This course is for students who are new to dealing with clients who require Subcutaneous Injections for Diabetes.
This one-day course is for students who seek a requirement for subcutaneous injections and administering a range of medications to support participants to manage their diabetes. Students will practice how to calculate the dose of diabetes medication and the appropriate use of equipment and medication to be injected. This course aligns with NDIS High Intensity Support Skills Descriptor for Subcutaneous Injections
Students are expected to complete a written and practical assessment.
Student Must bring: Laptop
Completion: Student will receive a Certificate that is valid for one year.
